Guzzi Pietro Hiram

Pietro Hiram Guzzi (membro, IEEE) ha conseguito il dottorato di ricerca in ingegneria biomedica presso l'Università Magna Græcia, Italia, nel 2008. Dal 2016 è professore associato di ingegneria informatica presso l'Università Magna Græcia. È stato ricercatore in visita presso la Georgia Tech University, Atlanta. È autore di quattro libri. I suoi interessi di ricerca includono l'analisi semantica e di rete di dati biologici e clinici. È membro di ACM, BITS, ISMB e NETBIO COSI. È anche editore di una newsletter dell'ACM Special Interest Group on Bioinformatics, Computational Biology, and Biomedical Informatics (SIGBio), Plos Complex Systems e IEEE/ACM Transactions on Computational Biology and Bioinformatics. Pietro Hiram Guzzi (Senior Member, IEEE, ACM PROFESSIONAL MEMBER, SICC MEMBER, BITS)received the PhD degree in biomedical engineering from Magna Græcia University, Italy, in 2008. Since 2016, he has been an associate professor of computer engineering with Magna Græcia University. He was a visiting researcher with Georgia Tech University, Atlanta. He has authored four books. His research interests include semantic-based and network-based analysis of biological and clinical data. He is a member of the ACM, BITS, ISMB, and NETBIO COSI. He is also the editor of a newsletter of the ACM Special Interest Group on Bioinformatics, Computational Biology, and Biomedical Informatics (SIGBio), Plos Complex Systems, and the IEEE/ACM Transactions on Computational Biology and Bioinformatics. He is also a reviewer for many conferences with the scientific community.
